CERT International - Emergency Surgeries Program

One of the mainstay programs of Christian Emergency Relief Teams (CERT) International’s medical missions outreach has been our Emergency Surgeries Program.

Many times our Christian Emergency Relief teams will encounter people who require much more than just baseline medical treatment. Because we work among the poorest populations in the world, hospitals and surgeries are not even an option for these people.

Due to the generosity of our supporters and partners we are now able to provide treatment, and in many cases life saving surgeries for hurting and suffering people around the world.

When a patient is determined to have serious or life threatening complications, arrangements are made for transportation and treatment in the nearest adequate hospital facilities in that country. On occasion we have brought patients to the United States for more comprehensive evaluation, treatment and surgery.
