George Willis was born and raised in the Midwest and is currently residing in Crossville, Tennessee. George has been employed as a construction worker, Lineman, and power line clearance tree trimmer and supervisor. George and his wife, Barbara, have served in numerous areas of ministry, as youth directors, children's church pastors and homeless shelter volunteers. They served for nine years as prison ministry evangelists, and founded a free store and counseling center known as the Storehouse for over seven years.

They recently served the congregation of Cornerstone Church in Brighton, Illinois as associate pastors for two years and for six years as senior pastors. Leaving the pastorate they moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma to pursue overseas missions work with Strategic World Impact. George received extensive training as a D.A.R.T. (Disaster Assistance Response Team) leader, working in Honduras after Hurricane Mitch.

He has also traveled to South and Northeast Sudan, Myanamar (Burma), Thailand, Taiwan, Kenya, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Egypt, Yemen, and Djibouti in conjunction with Strategic World Impact's mission focus of working in active war zones, disaster areas, and assisting the persecuted church in closed and restricted nations.

Most recently George has been working in Peru with both medical and well drilling teams as part of C.E.R.T.'s ongoing work with the Indians in both the Andes Mountains, and the Amazon Jungle. He is also working with the evangelism teams as part of C.E.R.T.'s outreach to the people of Romania.

George's other responsibilities include the recruitment of Doctors, Dentists, Pastors and lay people as well as coordination, logistics and team leadership duties. He is also in charge of procurement of medicines and other humanitarian commodities for CERT teams. It is George's life mission and passion to use his God-given gifts to bring help, assistance, and the hope of the Gospel to the needy and forsaken people of the world.
