“THE POWER... OF PARTNERSHIP!”
Every day we partner with missionaries, government leaders, national pastors, doctors, dentists, nurses, volunteers
and many talented and dedicated people. You, by partnering with the CERT staff complete the circle that God is
using today! Let me share with you one example of a partnership that is happening now.
This partnership includes CERT staff, a Ticuna Indian village in the heart of the Amazon Jungle, a church in Pennsylvania,
the Peruvian government, the mayor and locals living in the village. The following update was sent to us
by partners Lambert and Doris Anderson, Wycliffe missionaries who have lived with the Ticunas in the Amazon
Jungle of Peru for over 50 years. Lambert and Doris were in the states recently and gave us an update on WELL
DIGGING projects among the Ticunas. He writes:
“We have just returned to Tucson and I want to share with you the newest development in the Ticuna
water project in which CERT has played such a key role. As you know we have tried on numerous occasions to
put in water wells close to Lake Cushillococha but it seems that so much organic matter has seeped into the
ground that the water is not potable. Thus all the homes in the entire plaza area have been without good drinking
water...
